I went to the doctor's this morning. Their scale said 168.8 boo! MY scale still read 165 this morning. The Doc said to go by MY scale because she thinks theirs is "heavy". She said based on her numbers I'm only very slightly overweight with a BMI of 25.5 and I shouldn't worry about it too much because I am so active, what with the running and hula hooping and all.... easy for her to say. I left the office and promptly went for a run! Another 7.2 today, it was beautiful to run in the sunny woods with all the snow.
I know the Doc is right, but I just can't get past my shadow on the ground. I know I'm making progress. These past 8 weeks with you guys has been great and I love the support we give each other. I've lost 6 inches around my waist (39 is now a 33) and 3 around my hips (45 is now 42) It's nice to see my waist again. At least I'm losing weight in the right place.
Eating today - breakfast: slimfast bar, coffee. pre run snack: slimfast protein bar. lunch: salad, 3 wasa w/ lf cheese. Dinner might be a challenge a friend is in from NY and wants to go out. I will choose wisely of a light meal.
