Couldnt sleep

So I am noticing the last 2 nights that I sleep less, but I don't feel tired. I have no problem going to sleep either. It's pretty amazing since I am always tired and can never fall asleep. I read that some people don't require as much sleep when their body is in Ketosis. We'll see how this progresses, but so far so good. Aileen and I had company last night, so no gym, but I insisted that we at least walk a litte. It was almost 80 here yesterday! I had a sugar craving last night so I just had a sugar free jello. The diet is going well so far.
B-3 eggs, 3 slices bacon
L-Roasted chicken, cheese, pepperoni, olives
D-Grilled Boneless/Skinless chicken w/ a small spinach salad
S-Fried Pork Skins, Cheese, and Sugar Free Jell-O

Have a great Thursday everyone!

  1. I'm glad you insisted on walking a little. ahh - 80 degrees, I'm jealous. It will get warmer here soon and then we can do some outdoor activities.
I'm glad the diet is going well. Even though you're sleeping less, is it a deep sleep, or are you waking up at all at night?

  2. Deep sleep except when the cat pummels the bed at night. Last night he knocked my glass of water off the nightstand and broke it. I woke up around 1:15 to the sound of shattered glass. Other than that it's a deep sleep!

  3. I need to move south. How far are you from the beach? Mark- you can buy these pee strips that let you know when your body is in Ketosis. I guess it measures the level of protein in your urine. When Matt & I did South Beach a couple of years ago, I got such a thrill peeing on the strip and seeing that my body was burning fat!
