Back after being down

Hi All, so last week I didn't post because not feeling good about my weight or my focus. Friday weighed in the same 141.5 and I really didn't do anything much. So it means the first week, I probably didn't do much of anything to make a difference.

Sunday - 1768 calories eaten; 2.97 miles on the elliptical in 33 minutes; bicep curls, tricep extensions, squats, and crunches on the ball(only 30 with a 10lb weight), stretching.
Monday - 1468 calories eaten; 3.67 miles on the elliptical in 38 minutes, same after party with weights as on Sunday.

  1. I agree with TL - there are other ways to tell you are changing your body than the scale. In round 1, I didn't lose any weight the first couple weeks either. But my pants started to be bigger and I felt that my belly was shrinking. I also feel much healthier now. I'm sleeping better, I have more energy and I feel stronger. Please don't get discouraged. You will see results. You have to stay motivated. Hopefully reading the posts and comments lets you know you're not alone in feeling that it's a struggle sometimes.

  2. I know how you feel Terrie, that's why I haven't been posting much as well. I feel I'm doing all this working out and seeing no results but everyone else is losing weight. Actually I gained weight back which really sucks. This week I'm try to stay focused though and hopefully it will make a difference. Sarah and TL are right, even little things are important. We should be proud of ourselves for saying no to that cookie or fries or dessert because it's so easy to be tempted!
