Teresa's Pitiful Weigh In

130.8 lbs - Pathetic. Might as well just get used to the fact that I'm going to be fat and not able to wear any of my bikinis this summer

  1. hang in there!! you just started south beach less than a week ago- don't be so hard on yourself!

    I think getting on track with sleeping will definitely help. And if you've been religious about writing down your food, take a look over a few days and see where the majority of your calorie/fat load is... It helped me out a lot. I realized that every day I was eating full fat cheese or having more than one serving of this or that...
    In addition to writing down what food I was eating, I also had a column for the quantity of food, and how I felt after I ate it (thanks, Elie Kreiger!). It helped me to realize which times of day and on which foods I was more prone to stuffing myself way beyond contentment.

    I think for most of us, the weight battle has been more about being in the right frame of mind to get the job done rather than our physical ability to do it. Making sure you're relaxed and not super stressed will also help!

    Hope this helps you- it's helped me quite a bit, and I was feeling pretty pathetic after my seemingly impossible weight gain- soon after I started my desk job, I gained 20 lbs in 3 months!!!
