Oops

Exercise was a no-show this week. My sleep schedule was way off, I kept waking up in the middle of the night. Last night was the first decent night's sleep I've had all week. Food intake was reasonable and with CJ's meet cancelled last night, I have been able to cook dinner every night so far this week. That's a HUGE plus. Food intake has been pretty much the same all week.
Breakfast - bagel
Lunch - yogurt and Fiber One Bar
snack - clementines
Dinner - a variety of home cooked meals.

Oh shoot, I forgot Monday I had a chicken taquito for dinner but only one so that's only 300 or so calories. Michelle and I went dress shopping for Saturday's banquet. I found perfect dress #1 (what a project, but I got it) and I found perfect dress #2 in case I feel too bloated for perfect dress #1. And the perfect pair of shoes to go with either. WHOA, what are the chances of that???????

I am trying to notice my salt intake for the week. Dress #1 is completely body hugging. It goes against anything I've ever worn before but I have to tell you without sounding like an egotist - I felt SMOKING HOT in it. I haven't felt that way in anything for a long time. Now, if only I could get my arms in shape for Saturday. :-/

This morning I really didn't have the energy to get down to the elliptical machine. I did crunches and 100 girlie pushups. No I don't think the girlie pushups will get my arms in shape by Saturday but..... the next time I wear that dress, I'm going to be buff. :-)

This week was a minor setback that is not going to interfere with my progress, just delay it a bit.

Don't let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use. ~Earl Nightingale
