1200-1300 calories a day is low for someone who is working out. I've read you aren't supposed to ever drop below 1200 calories or it could slow your metabolism, but who knows if that is right.
Have you tried using a calculator to figure out how much you should be taking in a day?

Then you can subtract that number by 250 to lose 1 lb a week or by 500 to lose 2 lbs a week. They also have some good weight calculators on that site.
